I've been in a creative mood and felt that the last design was a little too quick and too simple, and the black was too harsh, even though the stars in the background were quite good and I liked the style of the fonts. I felt like creating something a little more graphical so have worked on this design, using stars in a different way, and though it's still a simple design I think that it looks a little nicer now.

I still need to work on some proper content for the graphic design section, and I need to add an 'about me' page (that link won't work yet) but the rest of the content, thanks to being able to simply switch layouts with CSS, is all still here, so there is plenty on the photography page and some of my web design portfolio on here too.

A new year, a new layout. I'll probably touch it up yet but for now I just wanted something simple. This is also the first time I've done a new version of my site without really altering the HTML pages (only a couple, slightly) - I mostly messed around with my CSS file, changing the layout and colours, and fixing the column layout so that the outer columns float at the egdes and then the central column fills the space. I need to add more content too. I have plenty more photos to add, I can update my website design portofolio a little, and I need some proper content for the graphic design section yet too.

Friday 4th September

It's many months now since I created this new site layout, and this week I finally moved it over to be the new, main page. I've added more to the Photography and the Website Design pages, and am working on some content for the Graphic Design page too.

I shall also be creating some smaller websites to branch off from this one, covering some of my hobbies, such as origami and calligraphy. Look out for those, coming soon.

Wednesday 15th April

It's been a couple of weeks since I worked on the site because at first I was ill, then the weather was nice so I was out more, but now I'm here again. I have more of the Photography sections to work on, then I'll add some of my Website Design portfolio, and then some of my Graphic Design portfolio. After that I'll switch this over to take the place as the main, new site and I can just keep adding new content in future.

Monday 30th March 2009 - Southport

I went out for the day today to Southport. The weather yesterday was lovely, and I spent most of the day working here on the site - and then today I went out, and it was cloudy and dull. I had a good walk though, and took 181 photos in all. The pier is the 2nd longest in Britain, and is about 0.8 miles long. The length perhaps doesn't convey well in a photograph from this angle, but the symmetry was quite striking -

Sunday 29th March 2009 - Updates

Welcome to the all new Blampish website. This is the biggest overhaul the site has had in a long while. I'll be adding a lot more content than ever before and shall update this main page with reference to each new update, as and when they happen.

For now I'll be focused on getting the basic structure of the site done, with plain pages for each section, and then I can slowly add things to each section over time. For now you'll find that most of the pages don't even exist, and the ones that do have very little, or no content, but I promise; it is coming soon.

If you have any comments, queries, suggestions or anything at all, please use the 'Contact' link to send me a message.

Tuesday 24th March 2009 - Being Followed

The weather has been up and down lately, and even when the sun has been out there has been quite a bit of wind, but if we've had a Spring with some actual nice weather then hopefully we'll have a decent Summer to look forward to this year.

I often go out for walks in the park and, although refreshing, wet and windy days aren't as nice for it - especially not for taking photographs. On nice days I manage to get nice little shots like this one -
