My name is Neil and I was born, raised and still live in the North West of England.

I’ve always been a creative person, always with a range of different hobbies. As a child and teenager I was one of those people remarked on as “good with his hands”. I enjoyed playing with construction toys – Lego, K’Nex, Meccano – and as I got older I became interested in origami (and other papercraft), calligraphy, photography, playing guitar, writing (poetry, songs, short stories) and graphic design, the latter of which I pursued as a career.

I still try my hand at new things, always open to learning some new skill or craft, so who knows what the future will bring.

Outside of my creative endeavours I like to watch tv and film, go to concerts, and read, and when I’ve got the energy, I like to go hiking, sometimes with a spot of wild swimming.
